Academy for Quality and Safety Improvement (AQSI) project applications are now open to all Northwestern Medicine-employed physicians and advanced practice providers for the fiscal year 2027 Northwestern Health Network (NHN) program, which kicks off in December. What you need to know AQSI is a professional development program at NM designed to develop future leaders by equipping them with the skills and tools necessary to lead meaningful change.
Interdisciplinary teams propose a project and apply for the program.
Team members attend six didactic sessions led by NM physicians, executives and quality improvement experts.
During the program, team members complete a quality improvement project to apply the principles they learn in the sessions.
Each team is supported by an executive sponsor and performance improvement coach.
