Specialty update
Secondary board specialties recorded in Morrissey are now available when ordering physician lab coats. To help patients clearly identify a physician’s specialty:
Only one specialty may be selected per coat. Specialties cannot be combined.
The specialty must be selected from a drop-down menu on the lab coat product page.
Apparel recycling
Last fall, Northwestern Medicine employees and physicians embraced the opportunity to participate in a new textile recycling program, leading to the collection of more than 3,200 pounds of old uniform pieces. The program will return this year with expanded locations.
Collection boxes will be available during the replenishment at all 11 NM hospitals.
Box locations will be shared in Connections next week.
Only uniform items within the NM Apparel Program may be recycled. Hospital-laundered scrubs should not be placed in the recycling boxes.
