Radiology Increases Nuclear Medicine Capacity To Meet Growing Demand ​

Northwestern Medicine is expanding radiology services with additional nuclear medicine and ultrasound offerings as well as expanded operating hours at select locations. The updates are designed to improve access to advanced imaging, minimize wait times and provide rapid, high-quality diagnostics.
 
Below are expanded services by location.
 
Grayslake Outpatient Diagnostic Imaging Center
New services:

• PET CT head and neck
• PET CT beta amyloid brain
• PET CT FDG brain

 
Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital
New service:

• Ultrasound

Expanded hours:

• Monday through Friday, 7:45 am to 2:00 pm

 
McHenry Hospital
New service:

• PET CT

Northwestern Memorial Hospital
New service:

• Lung ventilation-perfusion with SPECT/CT imaging
• Post-therapy whole-body SPECT/CT (for post-theranostics treatment)

 
Warrenville Cancer Center
Additional capacity for:

• PET CT head and neck
• PET CT beta amyloid brain
• PET CT FDG brain
