An Important Update From President and CEO Howard B. Chrisman, MD
I would like to thank the more than 1,000 leaders who participated in the NM 2035 Leadership Sessions held throughout the summer. Your commitment to Northwestern Medicine is evidenced by your participation and your engagement. The tremendous feedback we received from survey responses indicate you are energized by the new strategic plan and are prepared to share more information with your teams as we move into FY24.
Our commitment to you is that we will continue to invest in your career development, communicate the updates you need to engage and support your teams, and respond to your feedback on how we can enhance the leadership experience at NM.
Over the summer, scoping leaders for all five of the NM 2035 pillars worked hard to identify the goals and tactics we will target first in FY24. Their recommendations have been approved by executive leadership and more information will be shared with this group throughout the fall.
As we begin FY24, we will also share details of the NM 2035 plan with the larger NM workforce through a series of communications that will appear in Connections and on NM Interactive. As part of this effort, we will introduce new ways to celebrate and show appreciation for employees, recognizing that our workforce experience is the foundation that supports everything we set out to accomplish in this new plan.
Again, thank you for your leadership as we embark on this journey to make NM a top destination for world-class care and talent. Your support and feedback are essential to our success. I look forward to hearing from you, and encourage you to continue to submit questions and ideas firstname.lastname@example.org.
