Northwestern Medicine Mokena is a 48,000-square-foot ambulatory care facility that opened June 14 at 21202 South Owens Road. As Northwestern Medicine’s first ambulatory site in the South Region, the three-story location will include primary and specialty care, as well as an Immediate Care Center and Diagnostic Imaging. The primary and specialty care offices located at the Mokena facility are NM Regional Medical Group practices. The Immediate Care Center is operated by Northwestern Medical Group physicians and opened July 12.
The new ambulatory site will extend access to sophisticated, state-of-the art Northwestern Medicine diagnostics and treatments into the south suburbs to better meet the healthcare and wellness needs of patients in the community, closer to where they live and work. Equipment at this location will include X-ray, CT, ultrasound and EKG, and a point-of-care laboratory. In support of NM expansion into the region, the site also will assist in building referrals for Palos physicians and providers. As part of its RMG practice, NM Mokena opened with 16 staff members and seven physicians. Recruitment for RMG roles at the location is complete. However, you can view and apply for future openings here as RMG grows and ICC/NMG recruitment continues at NM Mokena.
