Changes to Proxy Access for Adolescents Now in Effect

As of June 29, parents cannot view important medical information about their children aged 12 to 17 without the adolescent patient’s consent. There is no change for parents who already have full proxy access. This change complies with current Illinois privacy laws and current adolescent proxy settings for other information such as clinical notes and past visit history. With proxy access, parents can:
