Thomas Moran, MD, CMO of Palos Hospital, and Other South Region Leadership Changes

Thomas Moran, MD, has been named Vice President and Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Northwestern Medicine Palos Hospital. In his new role, Dr. Moran will join Northwestern Memorial HealthCare (NMHC) CMO James G. Adams, MD, along with Northwestern Medicine’s 10 hospital and two medical group CMOs, in working together to guide the advancement of leading-edge medicine and Patients First care across the health system.
Dr. Moran has been serving the organization for more than 25 years. He joined the Medical Staff at Central DuPage Hospital as an attending emergency physician in 1995, and he was named chair of the CDH Department of Emergency Medicine in 2009. He served in that capacity until he was promoted to Chief Medical Information Officer of legacy Cadence Health in 2012, and subsequently to vice president and Chief Medical Information Executive (CMIE) of NMHC in 2016. Kelli Doyle, Vice President, Operations, Northwestern Medicine Regional Medical Group, with responsibilities for ambulatory operations in the South Region
Matthew Eesley, Vice President, Operations, Palos Hospital with responsibilities for nutrition, transport and EVS
Trish Heerlein, Vice President, Operations, Palos Hospital with responsibilities for pharmacy, imaging, lab, and pastoral care
Leah Hobson, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, NM South Region
Ellen Kruk, Vice President and Chief Nursing Executive, Palos Hospital with responsibilities for behavioral health, emergency services, social services, patient flow, professional practice and wound care
Rebecca Murphy, Vice President, Operations, Palos Hospital with responsibilities for surgical services, sterile supply and procedural areas
Mark Sinibaldi, MD, Medical Director for Palos Hospital
