Northwestern Medicine is launching a new quarterly Grand Rounds series focused on health equity, and the first of the series will take place Tuesday, June 15, in a live Microsoft Teams event. All NM physicians and employees are invited to attend.
In addition, NM recognizes Illinois Health and Hospital Association’s Health Equity Action Day on June 18 with a refresh of the Community Impact page on NM Interactive (login required).
Equity Grand Rounds: Academic Health System's Role in Creating a Pathway to Equity In the first of a new quarterly Equity Grand Rounds, panelists will discuss evidence of inequity in healthcare associated with race, ethnicity and other characteristics, and strategies to improve equity and reduce disparities in our communities, our workforce and patient care.
