Study Title: Impact of COVID-19 on Healthcare Professionals

Principal Investigator: Amelia Swanson, PhD

Study Objective(s):

• Understand the impact of COVID-19 on healthcare professionals in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Better understand the impact on well-being, coping and needs of healthcare professionals, which could lead to recommendations for changes to support healthcare professionals.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Healthcare professional (physician, midwife, PA/NP, nurse, MA, ultrasonographer and all other healthcare professionals)
• ​Employee of Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern Medicine

Voluntary Participation in COVID-19 Research Studies
The Office of Research in conjunction with the Feinberg School of Medicine is facilitating several studies on COVID-19 and the effects on healthcare workers. These studies are not being conducted by Northwestern Medicine. Employees may participate on their own time and at their own discretion.

If you choose to participate in one of the COVID-19 research studies, employees are reminded of the following guidelines:

• Participation by any employee is voluntary
• The studies are not sponsored by or part of your employment with NM
• Participation must not interfere with your schedule, work duties or safety precaution​
