Study Title: Wearable Sensor to Monitor and Track COVID-19-like Signs and Symptoms

Study Objective(s):
Develop a wearable sensor package to gather data on COVID-19-like signs and symptoms such as elevated body temperature, respiratory parameters, heart rate, cough, and gait.
Create algorithms to monitor and track changes to COVID-19-like signs and symptoms for developing better care and isolation strategies for COVID-19 pandemic.
Eligibility Criteria:
Persons ages 18-95 years old
Currently experiencing any COVID-19-like signs and symptoms, such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, trouble breathing, persistent pain or pressure in the chest, confusion or inability to arouse, bluish lips or face
Individuals who are not experiencing any COVID-19-like signs and symptoms to act as a healthy control
Able and willing to give written consent and comply with study procedures

Voluntary Participation in COVID-19 Research Studies The Office of Research in conjunction with the Feinberg School of Medicine is facilitating several studies on COVID-19 and the effects on healthcare workers. These studies are not being conducted by Northwestern Medicine. Employees may participate on their own time and at their own discretion.
